If you have used the Help to Buy scheme and are now in a position to remortgage your home and start repaying your loan, or are looking to sell your property, then you need to get a RICS regulated valuation.
We are able to offer this valuation service which is compliant with Help to Buy Wales guidance.
The Process:
Upon instruction, we will need to inspect the property prior to completing the valuation report. We will then send the completed valuation report to you, with accompanying cover letter, addressed to Help to Buy Wales which you can then forward on.
Validity Period:
The RICS valuation will be valid for 3 months from the date of inspection. If the transaction does not complete within this time you will need to pay for another valuation. This further valuation can be a Desktop Valuation (subject to consent from Help to Buy Wales) from the surveyor who originally inspected your property.

Regardless of whether you own a single property or a wide-ranging portfolio, ensuring you have the correct insurance cover for buildings and contents is essential. It is not simply a case of being insured; it often transpires that property and contents are either under-insured – leaving you highly exposed to potential costs in the event of a claim – or over-insured leading to unnecessarily high premium payments.
The Process:
Upon instruction, we will need to inspect the property . Depending on the complexity of the property, block or site, RCAs can take a several days to compile and complete. This should be considered when reviewing insurance renewal dates.
Validity Period:
Insurance figures should be reviewed on an ongoing annual basis whilst additional reviews will be required should there be major changes to the insured property or fluctuating market conditions.
